YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT…

  • Perform various general maintenance tasks related to buildings, facilities, and production equipment;
  • Participate in occasional installation-related projects (carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work, HVAC, painting, and similar work);
  • Maintain production rooms, common areas, and workspaces;
  • Clean and keep tools, equipment, and work surfaces in good condition in accordance with internal policies;
  • Collaborate with the Director of Facilities in the planning and execution of maintenance and improvement work;
  • Work with suppliers and third parties during external work or interventions;
  • Physically receive merchandise (excluding cannabis);
  • Take part in projects assigned by the Director of Facilities;
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other departments;
  • Comply with internal policies, Health Canada guidelines, and occupational health and safety regulations;
  • Apply safe work practices when performing all tasks.
 

WHAT MAKES YOU OUR CHAMPION…

  • DEP (Vocational Diploma) in a construction trade or industrial maintenance;
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or construction;
  • ASP Construction safety card (asset);
  • Forklift certification (asset);
  • Knowledge of Health Canada regulations related to cannabis cultivation (asset);
  • Bilingualism (spoken French and English) (asset);
  • Good physical condition (standing, crouching, and seated work);
  • Ability to work well as part of a team;

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Attendant – Building Maintenance is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and improvement work related to buildings, equipment, and production spaces.
The position involves a variety of manual and technical tasks, collaboration with external suppliers, and participation in occasional projects related to facilities and buildings.
This position does not include any supervisory or people management responsibilities.
