Job Summary

Reporting to the Technical Director and working closely with the Analytical and Technical Coordinator, the Data Analyst participates in the implementation and optimization of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. The incumbent develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and performance indicators, while ensuring the quality and consistency of the data used.

As part of their duties, the person will be required to perform relevant analyses, make concrete recommendations, and assist stakeholders in interpreting and using the data. They will also contribute to organizational projects related to analytics and information governance, as well as to the continuous improvement of analytical tools and processes.

Main responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions including reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for analytical solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Analyze and translate the business needs of internal stakeholders into concrete analytical solutions.
  • Participate in data modeling and technical process definition.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, consistency, and security of the data used.
  • Participate in organizational projects related to data and analytics.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical processes and tools.

Skills profile

Required education and work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, mathematics, or a related field, with a specialization in business intelligence, data science, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
Required skills
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or equivalent
  • Good command of Python
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and concepts and data integration
  • Knowledge of SQL (an asset)
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.

Salary
  • Hourly wage to be discussed based on experience
