Maintenance Technician
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Maintenance Technician performs repairs and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities, ensuring a functional, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Main Responsibilities

Perform general plumbing tasks (sink, toilet, bathtub, and shower repairs).

Maintain hotel installations, furniture, and equipment.

Repair and maintain heating and ventilation systems.

Contribute to renovation projects and upgrades.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks in guest rooms and public areas.

Apply skills in carpentry, painting, plastering, plumbing, heating, laundry machines, ventilation, electricity, and thermal systems.
Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in hospitality.

Excellent physical condition (able to lift 50-75 lbs).

Functional bilingual French/English to communicate with international guests.

Ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment.

Availability for varied shifts: days, evenings, and weekends.

Customer service skills and experience.
