Handyman
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Handyman performs heavy maintenance of indoor and outdoor spaces, ensures site cleanliness and safety, and contributes to repairs and seasonal improvement projects.
Main Responsibilities

Maintain clean and safe entrances, access points, and underground parking.

Snow removal/salting outdoors in winter and prepare grounds for seasonal changes.

Maintain landscaping: mowing, trimming, gardening, watering.

Assist with removing waste containers alongside the technical team.

Change light bulbs in common areas.

Clean compactor rooms, storage, electrical, recycling, garage, loading dock, and fire escapes.

Collaborate with housekeeping to collect trash and debris.

Store equipment neatly and prevent risks (safety, fire, theft).

Participate in upgrade projects and deep cleaning of guest rooms.

Perform any other related duties.
Education and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

High school diploma.
-
DEP in general building maintenance (an asset).

WHMIS knowledge (an asset).

Excellent physical condition (able to lift 50-75 lbs).

Bilingual French/English (French priority; English essential for 50% English-speaking guests). Another language is an asset.

Priority management in a high-volume environment.

Availability for occasional variable shifts (primarily daytime).

Indoor/outdoor work year-round.

Attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, customer service.

Ability to work at heights, rigor, professional leadership.
