Position Summary

Ripplecove Hotel & Spa, a prestigious property located on the beautiful shores of Lake Massawippi, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Front Desk Agent to join our welcoming team.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Front Desk Agent plays a key role in creating an outstanding guest experience by providing exceptional service throughout the reservation process, check-in, and check-out. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional service from the moment they arrive.

  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently and professionally.

  • Respond to guest inquiries by phone, email, or in person in a courteous and accurate manner.

  • Anticipate guests' needs and deliver personalized service to ensure complete satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to provide a seamless guest experience.

  • Promote the hotel's services, local attractions, and regional activities to enhance each guest's stay.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and reception area.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in both French and English is required to provide exceptional service to our local, tourist, and international guests.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.

  • Hospitality education and/or experience in the hotel industry is considered an asset.

  • Knowledge of the region and local tourist attractions is an asset.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems (Hotello is an asset).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
