We Are Hiring a Maintenance Technician!
Join our team and help maintain the exceptional facilities and guest experience that define Ripplecove Hotel & Spa.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and unexpected equipment or facility breakdowns.
- Perform general building repairs and maintenance.
- Complete repairs efficiently to ensure guest comfort throughout their stay.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment.
- Perform basic plastering, painting, carpentry, plumbing, lock repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
- Remove garbage and recycling from designated areas.
- Clear snow from sidewalks, entrances, emergency exits, and access ramps during the winter season.
Qualifications
- Diploma (DEP) in Building Maintenance or a related field.
- Minimum of six months of experience in a similar maintenance role.
- Ability to lift and move loads of 40 kg (88 lbs) or more.
- Strong aptitude for manual work and the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability to work weekends, Mondays, and Tuesdays is required.
- Certifications in electrical work, carpentry, plumbing, or related trades are considered an asset.
Schedule
- Day shift: Wednesday through Sunday.
