Your role and responsabilities 

1. Troubleshooting mechanical issues on programmable building equipment:

  • Diagnose problems;

  • Perform necessary repairs;

  • Implement corrective measures as needed.

2. Repair and improve various building equipment and components:

  • Carry out repairs and improvements on equipment;

  • Record completed work on work orders;

  • Perform certain electrical tasks under the supervision of the electrician;

  • Test equipment after repairs.

3. Responsible for preventive maintenance of HVAC systems and other building equipment:

  • Monitor assigned preventive maintenance tasks;

  • Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled dates;

  • Record completed work on preventive maintenance work orders;

  • Test equipment following maintenance.

4. Other duties:

  • Perform general building-related tasks (repairs, plumbing, certain electrical work, etc.);

  • Diagnose issues related to HVAC systems;

  • Support other building maintenance teams;

  • Perform any other tasks as required by the company.

Requirements

  • Diploma (DEP) in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, or related field;

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge;

  • Basic electrical knowledge;

  • Good command of Windows environment;

  • Resourcefulness, autonomy, rigor, and determination.

Assets

  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices);

  • Bilingual (French and English).
