Are you the kind of person who blends into an atmosphere, connects with people, and comes away with photos that tell a real story? Do you want to experience Montréal like a true local while sharing unique moments with travellers from around the world?
Then this program is for you!
The concept
The Saintlo Montréal work for stay program is a true immersion into hostel life and local culture. For 2 to 3 months, you help make our hostel welcoming, lively, and warm, while enjoying free accommodation.
Here, every day is an opportunity to:

Meet travellers and create memorable moments;

Take part in hostel activities and help create a great atmosphere;

Discover Montréal’s hidden gems and cultural scene through a hands-on experience in the field.
Your mission as a participant

Welcome and connect with travellers with enthusiasm and attentiveness

Capture daily hostel life: atmosphere, activities, spaces, and traveller portraits
-
Contribute to our internal content library; access to our media management tool will be provided
-
Regularly provide ready-to-use vertical photos and videos, especially for stories and short-form videos
-
Have image release forms signed
Profile we’re looking for
-
Creativity, curiosity, and independence are words that describe you well
-
Comfortable approaching people and building connections
-
Interest in hostels, travel, and community life
-
Good understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
-
Smartphone with a quality camera and available storage
-
Film camera or analog camera? That’s a plus; film rolls are provided!
How does it work with the marketing team?

You work independently on site, with remote support from our marketing coordinator
-
Dedicated onboarding: introduction to Saintlo, expected deliverables, branding, and moodboard
-
Biweekly check-ins to review content and adjust direction as needed

Direct connection with our content creator and our experience creator.

You will not have access to our social media accounts; our content creator remains responsible for what gets published. Your role is to capture authentic moments, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Conditions

20 hours per week

Flexible schedule: days, evenings, and weekends based on your availability

Central location, just steps from Lucien-L’Allier metro station

Communication in French and English
-
Valid work permit and social insurance number
