Shellex Consulting Group is currently looking for an Engineering Project Manager at their office in Toronto.
As a project manager, you will actively participate in the management and execution of multidisciplinary industrial projects of various sizes. Working closely with the engineering, project management and construction teams, you will be called upon to carry out all stages of project management, from defining project mandates to on-site construction. A strong team will be in place to support you in serving a diverse clientele, mainly in the industrial/chemical sector.

- Administer, plan and coordinate all stages of a project in collaboration with the client, the design team, and the construction team;
- Supervise projects from the preliminary phase to final completion;
- Manage the execution of multidisciplinary engineering design projects for industrial projects such as redevelopment of production areas in existing facilities, replacement or upgrades of production lines or replacement of equipment and modification of buildings or services;
- Manage construction projects including material and equipment procurement, and contractor management. Responsible for construction schedules, budgets and site safety.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with the client and all project stakeholders, both internally and externally;
- Develop project scopes of work and prepare commercial proposals;
- Manage logistics and coordination between all team members and stakeholders;
- Ensure excellent budget and schedule management;
- Deal with unforeseen events related to the project by ensuring the planning and distribution of tasks among team members;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- University degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
- Engineering experience in multidisciplinary engineering for industrial, chemical and manufacturing processes and facilities.
- Construction management experience in industrial projects.
- Member of PEO;
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
- Appropriate skills and personal qualities, such as good communication and analytical skills;
- Organized and structured with ability to influence and motivate the different stakeholders in the project;
- Good priority management and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel;
- Able to keep one's cool despite in stressful situations;
- Have a valid driver's license and a vehicle at your disposal;
