Stageline invites you to step into the spotlight and join our team as a Trailer Mechanic.
For over 35 years, we have embodied innovation, quality, and sustainability in the world of live events. Our stages, which light up major international events like Osheaga, Piknic Electronik, and the Montreal Jazz Festival, also inspire local communities at festivals and neighborhood celebrations, leaving a lasting impact for generations to come.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on stages and trailers.
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, aesthetic, and hydraulic work safely.
- Install and repair components by welding (MIG, TIG) on aluminum or steel structures.
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other trades (coordinators, mechanics, etc.) to ensure effective and safe maintenance.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of stages and trailers before and after work.
- Verify equipment compliance with current standards.
- Perform any other related tasks as needed by the department.
What Success Looks Like:
Within the first 6 months:
- You will complete a full inspection of a heavy vehicle’s rolling system.
- You will perform basic maintenance on Honda engines in compliance with standards.
- You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in trailers (including ABS systems).
Within the first year:
- You will maintain the entire rolling system of a trailer.
- You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faulty hydraulic systems.
- You will safely repair trailer signaling systems in compliance with regulations.
You Are the Person We’re Looking For If:
- You hold a DEP in Welding-Assembly or have equivalent welding experience.
- You have experience in mechanical, structural, or industrial maintenance.
- You possess strong manual skills.
- You are autonomous, rigorous, and organized.
- You are detail-oriented, resourceful, and versatile.
- You have a team spirit and a collaborative attitude.
- You are knowledgeable about safe work practices and health and safety standards.
- You have French comprehension (mandatory)
