Stageline invites you to step on stage and join us as a Trailer Mechanic.
For over 35 years, we have embodied innovation, quality, and durability in the live performance industry. Our stages, which light up international events such as Osheaga, Piknic Électronik, and the Montreal Jazz Festival, also inspire local communities during festivals and neighborhood celebrations, leaving a lasting impact for generations to come.

Your responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of stages and trailers.

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, aesthetic, and hydraulic work safely.

  • Install and repair components through welding (MIG, TIG) on aluminum or steel structures.

  • Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.

  • Collaborate with other trades (coordinators, mechanics, etc.) to ensure effective and safe maintenance.

  • Conduct full inspections of stages and trailers before and after work.

  • Verify equipment compliance according to current standards.

  • Perform any other related duties as required by the department.

What success looks like:

Within the first 6 months:

  • You perform a complete inspection of a heavy vehicle suspension system.

  • You carry out basic maintenance on Honda engines according to compliance requirements.

  • You diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on a trailer (including the ABS system).

Within the first year:

  • You maintain the entire suspension system of a trailer.

  • You are responsible for diagnosing and repairing faulty hydraulic systems.

  • You perform repairs on trailer signaling systems safely and in compliance.

You are the person we’re looking for if you:

  • Hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in welding-assembly or equivalent welding experience.

  • Have experience in mechanical, structural, or industrial maintenance.

  • Possess strong manual skills.

  • Demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and organizational abilities.

  • Are detail-oriented, resourceful, and versatile.

  • Have a strong team spirit and a collaborative attitude.

  • Possess knowledge of safe work practices and comply with health and safety standards.
