BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | Manufacturer | PVF

Territory: Ontario & Québec.
Clients: Commercial Builders, Engineering Firms, High-rise, HVAC Contractors and Distributors.
Business Devlopement: 80% of your time will be dedicated to client meetings, pursue and management.
Base salary: 130 000$ @ 150 000$ + Bonus (OTE= 40K-45K)
Car allowance: Monthly allowance + gas.

Our client, a leading organization in the integrated piping systems industry is looking for a Business Development Manager to support continued growth across Central and Eastern Canada. With one of the most complete piping connection portfolios on the market, this organization delivers end-to-end solutions for commercial, industrial, and backflow prevention applications.

RESPONSABILITIES
As Business Development Manager, you will drive brand specification through developers, consulting engineers, and key owners, using a top-down sales approach. You will work closely with the Canadian sales team to influence projects early and convert opportunities into wins.

What You’ll Do
✅ Develop and lead strategic action plans and annual forecasts for assigned accounts
✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, engineers, and key decision-makers
✅ Drive brand specifications and support project pursuit by the sales team
✅ Manage project communication and client profiles (key accounts, engineers, end users)
✅ Support Industrial AML approvals when required
✅ Meet or exceed annual specification adoption targets
✅ Analyze competitive offerings and market trends
✅ Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events

QUALIFICATIONS
🎓 Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales (Maufacturer or Engineering firm experience is an asset)
🎓 Engineering degree considered an asset
💻 Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
🗣 Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities
📊 Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
🌐 Knowledge of sales channels (distribution, contractors, end users, specifying engineers)
🌍 Bilingual in English & French (ideal)

EXPERIENCE
✔ Valve and piping systems knowledge, PVF distribution, and industrial manufacturing
✔ Mechanical/plumbing contractor environments
✔ Strong professional sales and self-management skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
