We are currently EXPANDING and are looking for heavy vehicle mechanics for our workshop in Lévis!

About Us

Transport Laberge is a leader in transportation and logistics in Quebec. Our fleet of heavy vehicles is at the heart of our operations, and our mechanical team plays an essential role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.

Your Role

Under the supervision of the workshop supervisor, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of heavy trucks and trailers. You will contribute directly to vehicle availability and driver safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance according to established intervals (oil, brakes, suspension, tires, etc.)
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Inspect vehicles and trailers in accordance with SAAQ standards
  • Complete work orders and document interventions in the fleet management system (MIR)
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop
  • Collaborate with the planning team to minimize downtime

Desired Profile

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in heavy road vehicle mechanics (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics
  • Knowledge of Western Star Freightliner, Peterbilt systems, or equivalent (an asset)
  • Knowledge of MIR RT (an asset)
  • Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 an asset)
  • Autonomy, attention to detail, and team spirit
  • Ability to adapt and learn
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Languages: English and French (spoken and written preferred)
