Position

The Electrotechnician provides technical support and services related to the design, commissioning, testing, production, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Know and comply at all times with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies;
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, procedures, and documents to determine the location of electrical equipment;
• Participate in the design, commissioning, and testing of electrical and electronic components, equipment, and systems;
• Assist with the inspection, testing, adjustment, and evaluation of electrical, electromechanical, and electronic components and assemblies to ensure compliance with standards and tolerances;
• Install, operate, and perform maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment and systems;
• Develop and integrate PLC systems;
• Use provided computer and software tools;
• Perform any other related duties.

Education and Experience

• College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Electronics Technology; and/or
• Proven experience in a similar position.
