Responsibilities
- Work schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (12-hour shift);
- Supervise a team of approximately 15 production employees, according to business needs, in the most efficient manner possible;
- Ensure that all operators and production workers perform their duties optimally, in compliance with their training, procedures, regulations, and company policies;
- Know and comply with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies;
- Provide break coverage on the assigned production line;
- Ensure the availability of all required materials and resources to meet production objectives;
- Meet production deadlines while ensuring product quality;
- Conduct daily inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety, implement corrective actions when necessary, and follow up;
- Document management and production activities (logs and performance indicators);
- Submit ideas related to continuous improvement processes;
- Welcome and onboard new employees;
- Coordinate and ensure the training of production employees regarding job duties, safety standards, and company policies;
- Evaluate employees based on attendance, work quality, attitude, as well as established standards and objectives;
- Develop individual development plans with employees to improve performance;
- Ensure effective and healthy management of interpersonal and group conflicts;
- Intervene when employee performance is unsatisfactory and apply disciplinary measures when required;
- Serve as a technical resource for employees;
- Lead efficient team meetings;
- Motivate the team by recognizing good work and providing constructive feedback.
