Job Description

Summary

The Sales Account Executive – Arizona is responsible for driving business growth within Christie Innomed’s Multi-Vendor Service organization throughout the state of Arizona. This position is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting service solutions for diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment within the healthcare market.

The Sales Account Executive develops and executes sales strategies, manages key accounts, and builds strong relationships with hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, physician practices, and other healthcare organizations. Acting as a subject matter expert in medical equipment service solutions, this position works closely with internal sales, service, technical, and leadership teams to identify customer needs and provide solutions that support customer satisfaction and business growth.

The position is also responsible for expanding Christie Innomed’s presence in the Arizona Multi-Vendor Service market through prospecting, account development, contract renewals, and the direct sale of service programs to healthcare organizations and enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for Multi-Vendor Service solutions throughout Arizona.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the Arizona healthcare market.
  • Prospect for new customers and proactively build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand Christie Innomed’s service offering.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, clinical leaders, procurement teams, and key decision-makers within hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, and other healthcare organizations.
  • Promote and sell post-warranty service contracts, renewals, equipment coverage, and other service solutions.
  • Develop opportunities and sell multi-vendor service contracts for diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment.
  • Prepare and coordinate responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) related to service and multi-vendor service offerings.
  • Work closely with Equipment Sales and Service teams to identify opportunities within customers’ installed equipment base and support contract renewals.
  • Monitor customer contracts and develop action plans to ensure renewals are progressing in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify opportunities to replace incumbent service providers and position Christie Innomed as a strategic service partner.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, service, and technical teams to develop customer-specific solutions and proposals.
  • Train, support, and assist Sales Account Managers in promoting and selling service agreements and warranty extension solutions on new diagnostic imaging systems.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key manufacturers, healthcare organizations, and enterprise accounts.
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, competitive activity, market share, and growth opportunities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assess service costs and margins to support the development of competitive and profitable proposals.
  • Act as a voice of the customer internally and provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to leadership.
  • Deliver sales presentations, proposals, and business reviews to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and influence decision-makers to achieve sales and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, opportunity, and sales information within the company’s CRM and follow established sales processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the sales cycle and customer relationship.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and other business development activities throughout Arizona and, when required, other U.S. locations.
  • Travel regularly throughout Arizona to meet with customers, prospects, and business partners.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA considered an asset, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive sales, account management, or business development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment, associated services, and their applications.
  • Experience in the medical imaging, biomedical, healthcare, or technical services industry is considered an asset.
  • Proven track record in business development, consultative selling, and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience selling technical services, service contracts, or healthcare solutions is considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to the development and execution of strategic sales plans.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to build long-term customer loyalty.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • High energy, strong sense of urgency, and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout Arizona.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Special Requirements

  • Knowledge of service business models, sales processes, and contract structures.
  • Experience working with hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, physician practices, or other healthcare organizations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities and/or biomedical equipment is an asset.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new accounts, and close complex sales opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative, act with confidence, and work independently.
  • Strong commercial and customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Arizona.
