In the role of Technical IT Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible to manage the identification and resolution of high-level technical issues. More precisely, you will have to :
- Handle highly complex technical issues that could not be resolved by Level 1 or Level 2 technicians ;
- Provide high-level technical support for specific systems and applications ;
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of IT projects ;
- Supervise and train Level 1 and Level 2 technicians ;
- Contribute to the improvement of IT processes and systems by proposing innovative solutions ;
- Manage user access rights across systems and networks, ensuring appropriate permissions are granted according to each role ;
- Participate in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new technologies to enhance the company’s IT infrastructure ;
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency ;
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution ;
- Perform any other related duties as required.
- Hold a college diploma in computer science, an attestation of college studies in computer science, or any other equivalent training ;
- Have 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role ;
- Demonstrated experience in supervising a technical team ;
- Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with our partners outside of Quebec ;
- Knowledge of IT project management ;
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues ;
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ;
- Knowledge of database management ;
- Understanding of CCNA (CISCO) certification ;
- Solid grasp of technical aspects related to the field of activity ;
- Strong priority management skills ;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously ;
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure ;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills ;
- Display excellent organizational abilities ;
- Enjoy working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
