In the role of Technical IT Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible to manage the identification and resolution of high-level technical issues. More precisely, you will have to :
  • Handle highly complex technical issues that could not be resolved by Level 1 or Level 2 technicians ;
  • Provide high-level technical support for specific systems and applications ;
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of IT projects ;
  • Supervise and train Level 1 and Level 2 technicians ;
  • Contribute to the improvement of IT processes and systems by proposing innovative solutions ;
  • Manage user access rights across systems and networks, ensuring appropriate permissions are granted according to each role ;
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new technologies to enhance the company’s IT infrastructure ;
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency ;
  • Collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution ;
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Hold a college diploma in computer science, an attestation of college studies in computer science, or any other equivalent training ;
  • Have 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role ;
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising a technical team ;
  • Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with our partners outside of Quebec ;
  • Knowledge of IT project management ;
  • Ability to resolve complex technical issues ;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ;
  • Knowledge of database management ;
  • Understanding of CCNA (CISCO) certification ;
  • Solid grasp of technical aspects related to the field of activity ;
  • Strong priority management skills ;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously ;
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure ;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills ;
  • Display excellent organizational abilities ;
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
