Under the supervision of the Service Director, the PDI Manager is primarily responsible for managing an efficient and profitable detailing operation. He or she will fulfill this mission by operating the workshop at full production capacity, controlling costs, maintaining good employee relations, setting and achieving sales targets, keeping service records up to date, and meeting profitability goals.

Specific Tasks:

Sell detailing services by providing quotes for service customers.

Work in collaboration with the detailing staff.

Work in coordination with the advisors.
-
Close all work orders once services are completed.

Manage the quality and processing times for the detailing of new and used vehicles.

Inspect all work performed to ensure quality.

Develop and implement a budget and forecasts to ensure the profitability of the detailing department.

Monitor department performance using the DOC, productivity reports, returns, warranties, and customer satisfaction indicators.

Develop a training program for the service department and maintain relevant records.

Lead periodic meetings with the workshop team.

Promptly handle customer complaints in accordance with dealership policies.

Maintain all records required by the manufacturer.

Maintain reporting systems required by management and the manufacturer.

Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the detailing department area.

Implement security measures to protect dealership and customer property.

Participate in all professional development programs as directed by management.

Ensure that all department employees correctly record their working hours using the timekeeping system.
