The incumbent performs dimensional inspection of machined parts in accordance with work instructions. They organize various fabrication and transformation project activities in compliance with established procedures. The incumbent must adhere to occupational health and safety standards as well as the company’s operational policies and procedures.
Work Schedule
Day shift, Monday to Friday (flexible schedule);
40 hours per week.
Work Location
Trois-Rivières, Quebec.
Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspection of machined and assembled parts; complete a non-conformance report when necessary and notify the immediate supervisor.

Manage required changes to machinery, equipment, production systems, and work methods.

Ensure compliance with established procedures.

Verify and approve all assemblies.

Check all dimensions according to shop drawings, including length, hole location and diameter, material specifications, quantity, etc.

Temporarily stop production if non-conformance is suspected.

Continuously verify self-inspection controls.

Verify part classification according to operations performed.

Inspect the quality of drilling and cutting.

Ensure the accuracy of drilling templates against shop drawings (when applicable); then, for stacked batches of the same mark, verify the position of all holes and the shape of the plates in relation to one another.
