Your future role:
We are looking for a Marketing, Communications and Business Development Advisor to join our Montreal office, reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications. The Advisor will be responsible for developing and executing communications and marketing strategies to increase the visibility and awareness of KRB and its professionals.
Your next challenges:
Communication, Recognitions and Thought Leadership
- Coordinate the writing of internal and external communications;
- Review, translate and publish marketing content for the website and social networks, such as content articles, biography updates, rankings, transactions or firm implications;
- Collaborate and guide lawyers in writing articles highlighting their expertise and recent transactions;
- Research and steer the process of nominating the firm and its professionals in relevant legal surveys, rankings and league tables, collaborating with lawyers within prescribed deadlines;
- Ensure proper monitoring of the content calendar and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs);
Marketing and Business Development
- Coordinate and update proposal documents, templates and other business development materials (corporate brochures, presentations, advertising, etc.);
- Participate in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, sponsorships and events organized by the firm;
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and business development;
- Coordinate with internal teams the collection of representative mandates and testimonials that reinforce the firm profile.
Project Management and Branding
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to manage branding initiatives, ensuring consistency across all external and internal touchpoints.
- Oversee various marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality control and adherence to deadlines, branding, editorial style and firm positioning;
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed on design, PR and digital initiatives.
Events, Sponsorships and Partnerships:
- Design and coordinate the firm's events and ensure an exceptional customer experience and coordinate logistical aspects (venue selection, contracts, suppliers, invitations) to ensure smooth running;
- Promote events on LinkedIn to internal and external stakeholders;
- Analyze and activate sponsorship and partnership opportunities in light of the firm's strategic objectives, ensuring optimal brand visibility;
- Gather feedback from event participants, analyze the return on investment of sponsorships and partnerships, and recommend adjustments to optimize results.
Who are we looking for?
- Degree in marketing, communications, or related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or professionnal services;
- Excellent written communication skills and be bilingual in French and English;
- Experience in project management with a proven ability to meet deadlines;
- Previous experience in another law firm;
- Previous experience with WordPress or Canva, an asset;
- Be resourceful and proactive;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail;
- Strong sense of customer service and professionalism;
- Be highly organized; and
- Exercise the utmost discretion with regard to confidential information.
