Your future role:
As an Administrative Clerk at KRB Lawyers, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's various legal and administrative teams by providing flexible and versatile administrative assistance. You will step in wherever needed, whether for replacements, temporary support, or during peak periods. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and able to quickly adapt to different working styles and practice areas.
Your next challenges:
- Provide administrative support to various legal and administrative departments where needed.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and prepare documents.
- Draft, proofread, and format various legal and administrative documents.
- Handle correspondence (emails, mail, etc.).
- Prepare and submit expense reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- File and organize both physical and electronic documents and files, including the use of platforms such as MinuteBox, iManage, or other internal systems.
- Archive documents and client files according to established standards.
- Enter data into the firm’s management system.
- Provide coverage for legal assistants and administrative assistants during absences or busy periods.
- Cover the receptionist during breaks and absences.
- Collaborate with the internal services team to ensure continuity and quality of service.
Who are we looking for:
- 2 years of relevant experience in a law firm (strong asset).
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and commonly used legal software (asset).
- Highly adaptable, autonomous, and proactive.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Discretion, diligence, and attention to detail.
