WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Lumenwerx is looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Project Manager for the after sales servicing of our products. This Project Manager role is ideal for somebody with a technical background and is comfortable with mechanical and electrical systems. While working in an office environment, you should be comfortable in a construction and factory setting to in helping to resolve issues. The individual will work as part of a cross functional team consisting of customer service, operations, manufacturing and design.

A successful candidate will be a resourceful problem solver that is able to work around obstacles, implement practical solutions and successfully partner with all other departments. Work with the field sales network to provide lighting design, technical support while maintaining efficiency and courtesy throughout the work day. The candidate will be working directly with sales agents, specifiers, contractors and architects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Primary functions are trouble shooting issues with products that are installed in customer location. This involves phone support, project management
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction in partnership with the engineers while delivering the required support service to our customers;
  • Working directly with customers, provide timely response to requests, juggle shifting priorities and keep on top of deadlines and follow up;
  • Ensure all post sale requests are processed accurately, through the various channels;
  • Solving problems independently, yet asks for help and direction when faced with unusual or complex situations;
  • Taking individual initiative to get things done by actively working to improve current processes.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

  • DEC in engineering technologies, or electro-mechanics;
  • 2 years of related experience in customer service, after sales or account manager role in lighting, manufacturing architectural, design engineering, or construction industry;
  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility or other light industrial exposure;
  • Proficient in order processing, customer service and telephone skills;
  • Outstanding communication in English and French, both orally and in writing as most customers are based outside Quebec.
  • Attention-to-detail and the ability to prioritize;
  • Demonstrates conflict resolution and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure without close supervision as well as working in close collaboration with team members and other departments.
