Reporting to the Head of Corporate Leasing and Business Development, the incumbent coordinates the logistics of activities related to the Grand Quai and the cruise terminals. He or she is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing events at the Grand Quai and the cruise terminals.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Leasing and Business Development, the incumbent coordinates the logistics of activities related to the Grand Quai and the cruise terminals. He or she is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing events at the Grand Quai and the cruise terminals.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics in the rental process
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved, coordinating the logistics required to host events at the Grand Quai and the cruise terminals.
- Coordinate the activities of internal staff (fire department, electricians, IT technicians, etc.) and external contractors (housekeeping, etc.) in organizing activities and events at the Grand Quai and cruise terminals to ensure that the Montreal Port Authority (MPA) environment meets the needs of its clients.
- Ensure that tenants comply with the terms and conditions of lease agreements and MPHA policies, and coordinate with operations, the Safety and Fire Prevention Department, and other relevant services regarding necessary actions.
- Coordinate the overall conduct of activities at the Grand Quai and cruise terminals.
Track events
- Write post-event reports;
- Make recommendations for future events (renewal, continuous improvement, customer experience);
- Conduct a weekly inspection to identify and delegate any maintenance or repair work required following events;
- Support the Grand Quai team with sales;
- Help create promotional materials and promote Le Grand Quai.
Perform any other related tasks.
- A college diploma in event planning and management, project management, or a related field.
- A bachelor’s degree in one of these fields is an asset.
- 5 years of experience in event management and logistics and/or in program and event development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Tact and diplomacy in dealing with diverse clientele.
- Bilingualism (spoken and written): French and English.
