Housekeeping Supervisor

Reporting to the department head, the Housekeeping Supervisor ensures smooth operations of the housekeeping service, including guest rooms, public areas, and laundry. They uphold cleanliness, safety, and service standards while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for the team and guests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the housekeeping team's work.

  • Respond to guest requests and questions courteously and professionally.

  • Assign daily workloads to attendants and follow up on priorities.

  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members according to Moxy quality standards.

  • Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure impeccable presentation.

  • Maintain effective control of inventories, supplies, and equipment.

  • Collaborate with front desk to manage cleaning priorities and arrivals/departures.

  • Apply and enforce health and safety policies.

  • Actively contribute to the cleanliness and organization of service areas.

  • Perform any other related tasks to support department operations.

Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or postsecondary education, plus a minimum of 2 years in supervision or housekeeping, ideally in hospitality.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.

  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organization, priority management, and ability to work under pressure.

  • Positive attitude, versatility, and strong team spirit.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written French and English.

  • Ability to lift or move light to moderate loads as needed.
