Front Desk Agent
The Front Desk Agent provides exceptional service to guests by handling check-ins and check-outs, answering questions about the hotel and city, and resolving concerns professionally and cheerfully.
Main Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and anticipate their needs for a memorable experience.

Process check-ins, check-outs, reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently.

Verify payments, adjust folios, and manage cash securely.

Handle all payment methods, adjustments, and miscellaneous charges.

Respond to guest requests and provide information on hotel services.

Offer city recommendations and activity suggestions.

Follow up on pending requests and resolve issues promptly.

Communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously, including by phone.

Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals.

Adhere to company policies and maintain guest information confidentiality.

Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors.

Maintain a professional appearance and wear the uniform according to standards.

Perform any other related duties as needed.
Education and Experience

Professional training (DEP) or college diploma (DEC) in hospitality, tourism, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year in customer service; hotel front desk experience is an asset.

Knowledge of front desk software is an asset.
Skills, Abilities, and Aptitudes

Spoken and written French and English. French is the primary welcome language for our clientele. As an international organization, we serve nearly 50% English-speaking guests daily; proficiency in spoken and written English is therefore required to properly welcome English-speaking guests and meet their needs and expectations. Knowledge of another language is an asset.
