Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Director, the Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees daily operations across outlets (restaurant, bar lounge, banquets, room service, coffee counter), ensuring compliance with Moxy standards and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Main Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate service teams in the restaurant, banquets, room service, bar lounge, and coffee counter.

  • Ensure smooth operational and administrative functions to meet performance goals.

  • Enforce daily service procedures and standards.

  • Assist in scheduling while respecting the collective agreement.

  • Support the director in operational and administrative tasks.

  • Contribute to seasonal action plans.

  • Be a positive and inspiring leader for the team.

  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.

  • Master all products (dishes, alcohols, wines, spirits).

  • Organize departmental meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards (MAPAQ).

  • Participate in internal committees.

  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Working Conditions

  • Variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Possible long hours under pressure during peak tourist seasons.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years as a restaurant manager in a unionized hotel.

  • Minimum 3 years managing high-volume restaurant operations.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of POS systems required.

  • Hotel school diploma in restaurant management (an asset).

  • Autonomous leader with initiative.

  • Computer proficiency and strong communication/organization skills.

  • Interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Responsible, reliable, and flexible (varied schedules).

  • Bilingual French/English (French priority; English essential for 50% English-speaking guests).

  • Ability to remain calm and courteous with guest needs.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in food service, including supervision and management.
