Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve the profitability of each product under your responsibility

  • Maintain and enhance high standards of product quality and compliance

  • Track performance indicators to improve team performance (health and safety, labor utilization, efficiency, quality, compliance, schedule adherence, customer service, absenteeism, etc.)

  • Manage annual employee performance and ensure disciplinary matters are handled progressively and fairly according to company policies

  • Contribute to optimizing work methods and participate in company-wide projects

  • Act as a positive leader in occupational health and safety (OHS), ensuring compliance with policies, preventing accidents, participating in investigations, and following up on corrective actions

  • Ensure compliance with GMP and hygiene standards

  • Ensure production activities and documentation follow established procedures

  • Perform any other related tasks as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment within pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic industries, or an ISO-regulated environment

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing production staff

  • Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical or food environments (an asset)

  • Training and experience in continuous improvement (an asset)
