Position type : One four-hour shift (or two two-hour shifts) per week for a minimum of one year, remote work non available 

About YHU Terminal  

YHU Terminal is a joint venture between Porter Aviation Holdings and Macquarie Asset Management, leading the development of a new, state-of-the-art passenger terminal at Montreal Metropolitan Airport (Saint-Hubert). Scheduled to open June 15th, 2026, the terminal will serve up to four million passengers annually, setting a new benchmark in passenger experience and operational safety.  

Volunteers act as goodwill ambassadors, providing guidance, information, and support to travelers throughout the terminal. 

As the face of YHU, our volunteers embody the airport’s values of Safety, Hospitality, Inclusivity, Efficiency, and Responsibility, ensuring that every passenger interaction reflects YHU’s commitment to excellence and care. 

Position summary: 

  • Greeting passengers and offering assistance proactively; 
  • Providing information about airport facilities, retail, and amenities; 
  • Guiding passengers to ground transportation and regional connections; 
  • Assisting with wayfinding and flight information inquiries; 
  • Supporting operational teams during flight disruptions or high passenger volumes; 
  • Promoting Montreal-area attractions and services to visitors; 
  • Providing support to terminal stakeholders and partners. 

Qualifications & Competencies  

  • Minimum 18 years of age; 
  • Previous experience in customer service or tourism; 
  • Friendly, approachable, and adaptable demeanor; 
  • Excellent listening and communications skills; 
  • Fluency in French and English (additional languages an asset); 
  • Basic computer literacy (email, internet navigation). 

All candidates will be subject to a criminal background check. 

Working Conditions:  

  • Commitment to at least one four-hour shift (or two two-hour shifts) per week; 
  • South-shore of Montral (Longueuil); 
  • Day and night Schedule; 
  • Uniform provide.
